The Shrine – Galleries of Remembrance has been shortlisted for six Victorian Architecture Awards, the most of any project this year. Another Probuild project, Abode318, has also been shortlisted.
Following Jury presentations and site visits, 74 projects were shortlisted across 15 categories from a total entry field of 197.
The Shrine's nominations are the most of any project this year. It was been shortlisted for Urban Design, Heritage Architecture, Interior Architecture, Public Architecture – Alterations and Additions, Sustainable Architecture and the Melbourne Prize.
Abode318 is one eight projects in the running for the Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing award.
Winners will be announced at the annual Presentation Dinner on Friday 26 June. Award winners will progress onto the National Architecture Awards, announced in November.
All entries including the shortlisted projects are currently being exhibited in the Atrium at Federation Square in Melbourne.
