Strong progress continues at Thirty8 Albert Avenue with scaffolding coming down to reveal the façade of the new Quest serviced apartment building.
Comprising a composite cladding of varying grey shades with painted acrylic render and glazing, the reveal of the façade provides the first glimpse of how the finished mixed use development will integrate into the prime retail and commercial hub of Chatswood.
Following the last concrete pour of the residential slab on Level 9 in June, structural steel work for both the Quest plant room and residential roof plant room has now also been fully completed.
A prototype Quest apartment on Level 2 has been inspected by both the Superintendent, Client and Tenant (Quest).
This prototype will identify any finite design co-ordination issues, resolve remaining aesthetical details that the Client or tenant may wish to amend and set the benchmark for the quality of the apartments.
In the basement, coloured coded ‘wayfinding lines’ have been marked to help future apartment owners, hotel guests and retail customers navigate their way to the respective car parking areas.
This initiative was led by the client, Wu International, which has its corporate offices in World Tower in Sydney’s CBD utilising the same feature throughout.
