National Tier-1 contractor Probuild has delivered Sage Hotel in Eastland for QIC Global Real Estate (QIC). The hotel welcomed guests in the second week of October, after being handed over to QIC and Hotelier Next Story Group four weeks earlier to commence preparations.
Sage Hotel Ringwood, located in Melbourne’s East at the gateway to the Yarra Valley, opened its doors on Tuesday 10 October and is the first hotel in Victoria to sit atop a shopping centre. The brand new 120-room, full-service Sage Hotel Ringwood spans five floors above Eastland Shopping Centre and includes a restaurant, bar, conference and co-working facilities comprising of a boardroom, function room and a co-working space with a capacity of 80 people.
“We’re incredibly proud to have delivered Victoria’s first retail destination hotel,” said Probuild’s Victorian Managing Director, Luke Stambolis.
“We’re building a number of large-scale luxury hotels around the country, including The Ritz Carlton in Melbourne and Perth and The Star Gold Coast. It’s been fantastic to combine this and our mixed-use experience with a project such as Sage Hotel Ringwood.”
