Following a highly competitive tender process, Echo Entertainment Group (Echo) has appointed Probuild to construct the Gold Coast's new Jupiters Casino six-star hotel and entertainment complex.
Work began on this exciting new development on 17 August, and will see more than 500 local jobs created and a new international icon built.
Probuild’s Queensland Managing Director, Peter Ward says that as a local he appreciates how important the project is for employment and the regional economy.
“Probuild is proud to be embarking on this extensive redevelopment that will be a stunning asset for the Gold Coast. We have been selected for this project because we are agile, reliable, innovative and responsive to our clients.” he said.
“This is a landmark project for Queensland, and we’re very excited to be working with Echo to create a unique development with features such as the rooftop infinity pool, luxury guest suites and entertainment areas unlike any others in Australia.”
The new casino will feature a 17-story tower, in-room theatres, new restaurants, bars and entertainment facilities as well as 80 luxury suites each with a balcony and four bedroom super-suites with stunning ocean views.
As one of Australia’s largest and most successful construction companies, this important project adds to Probuild’s growing portfolio of major projects in Queensland. Other major projects in the state include the $300M Grand Central Shopping Centre Redevelopment in Toowoomba for QIC, the Iglu student accommodation in Brisbane and Coorparoo Square.
