The project team at Grand Central Shopping Centre in Toowoomba held a colouring-in competition in conjunction with Mothercraft Child Care recently, with the five children who produced the ‘best efforts’ rewarded by having tower cranes named after them.
Four-year-old Noah Betros was the first of the five winners and late last week his family, including little brother Reilly, attended a naming ceremony on site.
Noah and Reilly were excited with their little yellow high viz vests and had a great time at the ceremony. Noah now has some great memories and some really cool 'show and tell' for the other kids at child care.
"It’s one of the most exciting things that’s happened to the boys in their whole lives," Noah’s mum Erin said.
The other winners will have their names put on the remaining four cranes when they're erected on site.
The crane naming is one of many ways that Probuild engages with the communities in which we work.
