The Grand Central Shopping Centre redevelopment's Margaret Street gantry is now a lot more colourful following the 2nd annual First Coat Festival in Toowoomba last weekend.
The festival featured 61 artists from the USA, Netherlands, New Zealand and around Australia painting 30 large-scale murals and one installation in just three days.
Along with many other laneways and buildings in town, the construction site gantry is now a vibrant and colourful place to wander through.
According to Arts Coordinator Grace Dewar, Toowoomba now has the "largest outdoor gallery in Queensland".
"I enjoyed watching the construction walls of the QIC development turn from white into amazing colour and pictures" was one comment from the Toowoomba Chronicle earlier this week.
